Personal project

GOSTTO

GOSTTO is a project I’m building around food, experiences and personal taste. The dish is the starting point: what we try, what we think of it and what we want to discover next.

Validating demandProductFood

The question

Food recommendations and memories often end up scattered across social networks, maps and notes. I’m exploring whether a space centred on dishes could help people keep that history and discover experiences through shared tastes.

My role

I lead the product strategy: UX research and journeys, wireframes, screen design and decisions about what belongs in the MVP. I’m also coding the app and making product decisions as I learn.

Designing the experience

I’m mapping the journey, making wireframes and designing the screens before deciding how the first version should work. That process connects the product hypothesis with practical UX and scope decisions.

Learning to build

I didn’t come from a technical background; I’m learning by making the product. I use Cursor as my IDE and Codex as an assistant while studying React Native and TypeScript fundamentals. GitHub holds the repository and the history of this work.

Setting up the experiment

I bought the domain and am setting up the infrastructure with Cloudflare and Supabase. I’m also preparing Google Analytics to measure interest in the idea. These tools are part of the learning and validation process, not evidence of product results.

Where it is now

The idea is in validation. The landing page and waitlist help introduce it and observe early signals; I’m still learning whether demand, the experience and the product justify building further.

The idea and current experiment are on the landing page.
