Pulldot

Pulldot is a native macOS app I built to download video or extract audio from supported links. It identifies the media, shows the available qualities and manages downloads in a local queue.

What it does

Paste a supported link and Pulldot looks for its title, thumbnail, platform, duration and available qualities. You can save video as MP4 or extract MP3 audio, choose the destination and follow each item in a download queue.

How it works

I built the app in Swift and SwiftUI. It runs yt-dlp and FFmpeg locally on the Mac to identify, download and process media. There is no Pulldot account, cloud service or usage telemetry.

Availability and limits

Pulldot is free and open source under the MIT license. It is ready to use on macOS. Supported links depend on each website and its access rules; the app does not bypass DRM, logins or private content.
